First Steps

Yesterday as we got out of the car and started into Chipotle to eat lunch there was a young woman sitting on the ledge. She asked for a dollar to get something to eat. If you've ever been in chipotle to eat you know you can't eat there for a dollar. (Yesterday was my first experience). If you sat there long enough you could get enough money to eat at Chipotle.  Or you could go next door and eat at McDonald's for less and maybe not as healthy.

Jim decided to be proactive and invited her to come in and order what she wanted. So she stood in line with us. We found out her name. We will call her Sierra. She got her food to go, though we would have welcomed Sierra and her unborn child to our table.

And as I sat at lunch I realized these were the first steps along the Way...looking at others and seeing them...loving them. And you don't have to anywhere to take these steps...just open your eyes, open your heart.
